Nick Russell is a Director at Thomasons and leads their Guildford Office.

Nick is qualified as both a chartered structural and civil engineer and has vast experience from a 36-year career.
​
His significant projects span town centre developments, offices, educational establishments, urban regeneration, site remediation and complex alterations to existing buildings.
​
Nick is in high demand as an expert witness both in the UK and overseas and received the civil and structural engineering Expert Witness of the Year Award from Lawyer Monthly in 2016 for his outstanding work.

Nick has had close ties with the Institution of Structural Engineers for may years and was President in 2014. He is also visiting Professor at the University of Surrey, a member of its Advisory Board and Chair of the Joint Board of Moderators, which accredits civil engineering degrees.
